Hi, Curious about what kind of router I should get to be safe with all the vulnerabilities being discovered. I'm thinking something running OpenWRT makes sense, since that's open source and likely to receive updates quickly going forward. Does anyone have any recommendations?

I worked a lot of cloc, sloc and scc and used them for various usage. But with AI driven development some of the models COCOMO I and II might not be that relevant. So built a new cli ccm short for code counter machine. Documentation: https://insanai.github.io/ccm/
Hi HN, I'm Faithful. I built dánwò, an open-source (Apache-2.0) end-to-end testing framework for web and mobile apps, written in TypeScript. The problem: a UI test can click "Pay", see "Payment successful" and pass, while the card was charged twice, the webhook was handled twice, or the receipt email never went out. With coding agents writing more of our code, that gap between "the screen looks right" and "the right things happened" is where I kept finding bugs. How it works: - Tests drive
Launched a beta/buggy version of the SDK for web bot auth, and it's live at https://messh.io Inspired by https://datatracker.ietf.org/wg/webbotauth/documents/ While solving this, I realized it solves the hassle of adding SSH keys, the overhead of copy-pasting n number of times to a remote server; just do messh add amul It will automatically search for Amul's public key and add it to my server Do try if you find it interesting. But the main p
A recent (unwanted) webOS update that got installed on TV prompted me to start going down the rabbit hole of writing new TV software. After a couple of weekends and massive help from 4 different models, finally managed to get v1 working. My daughter enjoys navigating TV through speech while I get to browse on the biggest screen at home. While all of the code was written by ML models, there were decisions I had to help with. In specific: using WebRTC to cut down latency, repurposing vendor logic
The "product graveyard" of SaaSHub has been tracking the status (and lifespan) of hundreds of thousands of products. It's been hovering around 4y for quite some time. However, there's a sharp decline in 2026 leading to about 1.5y these days. https://www.saashub.com/product-graveyard That's a huge drop. And, it matches my "human" observations. A lot of products are being vibe coded, released, and soon after that abandoned. It's become too cheap to produce softwa
